Description:
- lots of color
- cat
- Totoro
- Baymax
- posters
- lamp
- notebooks
- watercolors
- iPod
Analysis:
- color
- line
- movement
- texture in background
- harmony
- shape
- shading
Interpretation:
- really really likes animation
- Pixar is life
- totally might want to go into computer animation in college
- has a cat
- completely understands how cats can be very inconvenient at times
Judgement:
- I really liked how this piece turned out. I feel like it completely describes me. The only problem I had was the I didn't exactly plan out the posters so when I put them on, I didn't angel them to make it look like they were on a wall so that is what caused me to do the colorful background because there was nothing I could really do.
Description:
- ship
- cloud
- tentacles
- waterfall
- rock
- mermaid
- background
- foreground
- mid ground
Analysis:
- movement in the waterfall
- a little balance in between the cloud and the ship but the ship still overpowers the cloud
- texture in the cloud, water, and the ship
- form in the ship and cloud
- the brown and red contrast with the white and blue
- emphasis on the ship
Interpretation:
- The ship is heading towards a waterfall
- The tentacles are reaching out from the sky to try to hold back the ship from falling
Judgement:
- I think this piece is okay, it could be better, it could be worse. The waterfall turned out a lot better than I thought it would. The sails on the ship were such a pain in the butt, I wanted to cry. I kind of just winged the tentacles, I didn't exactly have a certain idea or plan with them, I just kind of went with it and the colors ended up pretty cool looking. By far my favorite part of this piece is the mermaid, I really liked that mermaid.
